SBR Conference and Research Funding

To facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and the successful completion of research projects related to beads and beadwork, the Society of Bead Researchers offers its members two forms of financial assistance.

The first is the SBR Student Conference Travel Award which is intended to assist university students present papers at conferences.

The second, the SBR Research Fund, aims to provide funds for individuals to complete projects related to the study of beads or beadwork.

Both subsidies are funded by donations from SBR members, as well as several grants from the Bead Society of Greater Washington.
